This plug and play CO2 detector is simple to wall mount in the area where CO2 is stored or piped and will provide audio/visual alarms should there be a leak which exceeds permissible safety levels. The unit does not require any calibration unless local regulations mandate it.
Standards such as EH40 in Europe mandate that employees, patients and other members of the public are not exposed to potentially dangerous levels of CO2 as it is a highly toxic gas in relatively small quantities. The A50 is an affordable, easy to operate CO2 monitor and is ideal for ensuring safety in areas where the gas is piped or stored.
The main sensor unit is to be wall-mounted in the area highlighted as a risk. It is also supplied with a repeater which can be placed at the entrance to warn anyone entering the room of an alarm before entering.
