Samples are applied to a scratch-resistant zinc selenide attenuated total reflectance (ATR) sample plate and easily cleaned with a cloth or paper towel. No solvents requiring special ventilation, expensive waste disposal or difficult to clean cells are needed. The analysis can be done by non-technical personnel with no formal training and is ideal for lab or field use. The InfraCal2 has added features such as touch screen display, data storage and transfer, a multi-language interface and password protected settings. The internal battery pack allows for portability and up to 12 hours continuous use, providing results in under a minute at a fuel loading rack, in a laboratory or at a pump in a fueling station.

Highlights
The InfraCal 2 Model ATR-E can be ordered with a choice of one of both of the following factory calibrations. The two ranges of calibration available are 0-20% and 70-100%. A 0-20% 5 Point Ethanol Low Concentration Calibration includes 0, 5, 10, 15, and 20% ethanol in gasoline points. A 70-100% 5 Point Ethanol High Concentration Calibration includes 70, 80, 90, 95, and 100% ethanol in gasoline. The calibration is performed using standards prepared by a certified laboratory.
