Compared to the amperometric design of other conductivity probes, the HI-763100 is potentiometric probe with platinum sensors which allows for the possibility to measure high or low conductivity ranges using one probe. This electrode features an integrated microchip which stores calibration data, electrode type, and serial number.
The probe is surrounded by a chemically resistant plastic sleeve to maintain control external interferences from the sample. It also allows the current loop to be generated in a controlled area.
Since temperature is an important factor for measuring conductivity, a built in temperature sensor on the probe is very helpful. There is no need for an external temperature probe, so that measurements can be made easily. The coefficient used to correct for changes in temperature is ?, which is expressed as a percentage of reading per degree of Celsius.
The HI-763100 is also compatible with the HI-2020-02 and HI-2040-02.
