- Reliable and accurate thanks to its 2-beam reference photometer
- Continuous background compensation
- Used in low contamination wastewater without sample preparation
The measuring principle of the NO2 module is based on the Azo dye method. Upon its reaction with nitrite, a reagent produces a pink coloration of the measuring solution. The intensity of the coloration is proportionate to the nitrite concentration in the sample and is measured with a 2-beam reference photometer. With an additional manual correction function, the system can be accurately matched to system-specific characteristics, so that even strongly dyed samples achieve a high measuring accuracy.
- Control measurements in drinking water preparation
- Monitoring of nitrite contamination of natural waters
- Limit value monitoring in fish farming
